- They didn't have an empty ship available that would have been able to carry that many passengers. These ships make money only when they're moving, so they keep them full and on the move. They don't have them sitting around empty.

- Even when I was a single mom with young children, I made it a priority to take a week-long vacation trip every year. It wasn't extravagant. We camped and/or stayed with family. But we took a trip somewhere new as a family.

- If Petraeus is the one who was in charge at the time of the attack on the embassy, why wouldn't he be the one to testify to Congress? Why does this affect who testifies? HE'S the one with the information, so HE should be the one to testify.

- A 14-year-old "got her pregnant"? What? She didn't have anything to do with it? It's all the kid's fault? No, I don't think so. She is even MORE responsible than he is. She's older and should know better how to prevent such things.

- Exactly. There had to be matter to explode in the first place. Where did that matter come from? Science confirms my belief in God. Archeology proves many of the stories in the Bible. If you don't want to believe, then all my examples of God's existence in my life won't make sense to you.

- The article talks about asexual birth, which is not the same thing as virgin birth. Virgin birth would mean never ever being with a male before. The scientists have not proven that. Maybe female reptiles have a means of holding over male sperm from a previous mating, to use at a later time.

- I think the decline in membership has nothing to do with liberal or conservative views of the church doctrine, but with the growing selfishness in people.
